摘要
The Ru school and the Mo school are same popular in the pre-Qin times; the Ru school prevails while the Mo school declines since the Qin and Han dynasties; the theory of the Mo school revives gradually after the times of Qianlong and Jiaqing of the Qing dynasty. The popularity and the decline of the theory of the Mo school is the inevitable outcome of the interaction of the self-development of academic science and the development of times, the formative reason of which is difficult to explain if any part above is preferred. As the theory of a single school, the strong civilian color of the theory of the Mo school makes it belittled by rulers even when it is popular and the strong closing quality and the preference for technology and logic to thoughts makes it more passive in the uniting trend at the end of the times of Zhanguo, and declines at last.
