摘要
出露于赤峰地区的老梁底组由砂泥岩组成,时代曾被定为中新世。昭乌达组以玄武岩为主。不整合覆盖于老梁底组之上,曾被划入上新统。通过对孢粉化石的研究。我们认为老梁底组的时代应为中新世早期。昭乌达组则为中新世中晚期。
Laoliangdi formation exposed in Chifeng area consists of sandstone and mudstone.
Its geological age was formerly considered as Miocene. Zhaowuda formation is mainly
composed of basalts. It covers on Laoliangdi formation in unconformity and is consid-
ered as Pliocene. By studying the sporopollen fossils, we consider the geological age of
Laoliangdi and Zhaowuda formation as Miocene.
