Study of Spray Evaporation of Ethanol and Gasoline Fuel

摘要 随着汽车发动机的发展,缸内直喷汽油机(GDI)逐渐成为关注和研究的重点。液体燃料喷雾的结构和蒸发与直喷汽油机内燃烧的稳定性、发动机效率以及尾气排放有着密切联系。本文通过纹影测试技术对乙醇和汽油的直喷喷雾的雾化和蒸发进行测试,研究结果表明环境温度、环境压力和喷射压力对喷雾贯穿距有着显著的影响,而燃油温度在低于燃油沸点时对喷雾贯穿距影响很小。因此可以通过控制环境温度和压力,以及燃油的喷射压力和温度对喷雾贯穿距进行优化. With the development of automobile engine,gasoline direct injection(GDI) engine has become the focus of researchers' attention.The structure and evaporation of liquid fuel spray play more important roles in controlling the combustion stability,engine efficiency as well as emission formations.This paper investigates the atomization and evaporation of ethanol and gasoline sprays using Schlieren technique.The results show that the ambient temperature,ambient pressure and injection pressure have significant effects on spray penetration length.However,the effect of the fuel temperature on the fuel spray penetration is very minor when it is below the boiling point of the fuel.Therefore,changing the environment temperature,ambient pressure,the injection pressure and fuel temperature are effective ways to optimize the spray penetration.
