摘要
四川省图书馆藏《读红楼梦随笔》与洪秋蕃的《红楼梦抉隐》被红学界看成两个作者所写的两本书。这桩公案经深入辨析后 ,有充分根据肯定郑藏本《随笔》与川藏本《随笔》当属于同一作者的同一本书 ,而仅是两种抄本而已。而郑藏本有洪秋蕃的亲笔署名落款 ,据此可以肯定《抉隐》与《随笔》同属洪秋蕃 ,不再存在后者“抄袭”前者的问题。郑藏本《随笔》当是作者当年的“初稿本” ,川藏本《随笔》是作者“初稿本”的一次“誊清本”。《抉隐》是正式出版的定稿本。此书是分两个阶段完成的。第 1 - 69回评批当在作者于同治元年 ( 1 862 )就任临武知县之前 ;第 70 -1 2 0回约于光绪十年 ( 1 884)至光绪十五年 ( 1 889)前后完成的。周汝昌先生对此案有考订之功 。
It is generally deemed that The Essay About A Dream Of Red Mansion collected by Sichuan Provincial Library was not written by Hong Qiufan,the author of Decoding The Cryptic Remarks In A Dream Of Red Mansion. However, The Essay About A Dream Of Red Mansion collected by Zhengzhou University Library bears the signature of Hong Qiufan himself.Besides,a careful differentiation and analysis has proved that the one collected by Zhengzhou University Library is Hong's first draft,while the other collected by Sichuan Provincial Library is one of the different hand copies of the firs draft.These facts have proved the The Essay About A Dream Of Red Mansion was not a plagiarized copy from Decoding The Cryptic Remarks In A Dream Of Red Mansion ,which is the final version of the work.The composition of the work falls into two stages:Chapter 1-69 were written in 1862(the 1 ST year of the reign of Emperor Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty),when the author was going to take office as the county magistrate in Linwu county;Chapter 70 to 120 were completed sometime between 1884 and 1889 (the 10 th -15 th year under the reign of Guangxu of Qing Dynasty).Finally,what merits mentioning is the academic pursuit of Mr.Zhou Ruchang.It is nobody but he who made a great contribution to this textual criticism.
