In this paper, on the basis of the works of reference[1], the comprehensive thermodynamic performance analysis expression for medium longitudinal flow casing tube are established, and then the expression is applied to analyze and evaluate heat transfer enhancement performance of pin fin casing tube. The analysis results show that the method developed in reference [1] is not only extended to more extensive area, but also have the same advantages and an united form. Figs 3 and refs 3.
