摘要
简略地介绍了分形和自相似的概念,分数维在描述复杂事物方面的意义,以及用时间序列计算分数维的方法。讨论了用测井资料计算的分数维在研究沉积地层的结构特点方面的应用,分数维D和本文引入的参数B在确定岩性、划分碳酸盐岩裂缝发育带、区别沉积相等方面的应用。并对分数维做为定量参数在描述盆地演化的动力学特征方面的可能性进行了探讨。
This paper introduces briefly the following: 1) The concepts of fractal and self-similarity; the significance of fractal dimension in describing complicate matter as well as the method for calculating the fractal dimension with time series. 2)The fractal dimension which is calculated with logging data and its uses in the study of sedimentary formations. 3)The applications of the fractal dimension and parameter B to determining lithology, dividing carbonate fracture zones, distinguishing the sedimentary facies. 4)The possibility of fractal dimension (a quantative parameter) in describing the dynamic feature of the basin evolution.
