摘要
“乎”和“令”是卜辞里常用的一组动词同义词。两词的词义和用法相近,在卜辞中均具有使令意义,可以引导兼语句。“乎”本为“呼唤”义。由于它常常引导兼语句,才具有了使令义。“乎”的“控制义”较“令”弱。词义内涵的不同以及商人的用词习惯导致“乎、令”在引导主体和对象、命令事类、词语搭配、构成辞句等方面存在差异。
"Hu(乎)"and"Ling(令)"are a group of verb synonyms commonly used in oracle inscriptions.The meanings and usages of the two words are similar,and they both have a commanding meaning in oracle inscriptions,which can guide pivotal sentences.The original meaning of“hu(乎)”is“calling”.It often leads to pivotal sentences,thus possessing imperative meanings.The"controlling meaning"of"hu(乎)"is weaker than"ling(令)".The different meanings of words and the usage habits of the people of Shang Dynasty lead to differences in guiding the subject and object,commanding the category of things,word combinations,and the formation of words and sentences.
