摘要
VRRP是一种在各类业务场景的网络中都得到广泛应用的容错协议,可有效提高网关路由设备的可靠性。但因VRRP的主备切换需要一定时间,仅使用VRRP仍会出现网络流量丢失。为此,可将BFD应用于VRRP中,当BFD检测到链路故障时立即通知VRRP进行主备切换。在分析VRRP和BFD技术原理的基础上,基于eNSP来设计BFD在VRRP中应用的仿真实验,并给出了详细的实验步骤。仿真实验结果表明,相较于仅使用VRRP,将BFD应用于VRRP中可以实现主备快速切换,大大减少因切换导致的网络流量丢失,进一步提高网络的可靠性。
VRRP is a fault-tolerant protocol widely used in various scenarios,which can effectively improve the reliability of gateway routing devices.However,as VRRP requires a certain amount of time to transition from Backup to Master,using VRRP alone will result in traffic loss.For this reason,this paper applies BFD in VRRP,and when BFD detects the link failure between Master and Backup,it will immediately notify VRRP to transition from Backup to Master.By analyzing principles of VRRP and BFD,this paper designed a simulation experiment for the application of BFD in VRRP based on eNSP,and provides detailed experimental steps.The simulation experiment results show that compared to only using VRRP,applying BFD in VRRP can provide rapid transition from Backup to Master,which greatly reduces traffic loss caused by transitioning and further improves the network reliability.
