摘要
兼具艺术性和设计感是意大利家具的重要特色之一。20世纪50年代是意大利家具设计的起步阶段,彼时意大利国内各类艺术的交织比以往任何时候都更加强烈,“艺术的统一”的口号让意大利设计始终尝试与前卫、新流行的艺术文化潮流相结合。从社会生活、经济以及设计文化与活动等角度,探析了影响20世纪50年代意大利设计趋向艺术化的时代背景,并结合诸多家具设计实例,具体分析艺术语言、艺术家和某些艺术思想对家具设计形态、品位、美学特征甚至设计方法的影响。
The integration of art and design is one of the defining features of Italian furniture.The 1950s marked the nascent stage of Italian furniture design,a period when the interweaving of various art forms in Italy reached an unprecedented intensity.The slogan“artistic unity”inspired Italian designers to merge with avant-garde and emerging cultural trends.This study examines the historical background influencing the artistic direction of Italian design in the 1950s from social life,economic,and cultural perspectives.Through numerous examples of furniture design,the research analyzes the impact of artistic language,artists,and specific art movements on design form,taste,aesthetics,and even methodologies.
