不同分子量聚丙烯酰胺浆料制备及浆液、浆膜性能研究

摘要 为降低聚丙烯酰胺(PAM)浆液黏度,改善浆液流动性,扩大其在经纱上浆中的应用,研究了小分子量PAM的聚合工艺。采用水溶液聚合法,以过硫酸铵(APS)-亚硫酸氢钠(NaHSO_(3))为引发体系在低温条件下合成了系列不同分子量PAM浆料。以浆液流变性、粗纱黏附性和浆膜力学性能为指标,研究分子量对PAM浆液和浆膜性能的影响;与聚乙烯醇(PVA)和聚丙烯酸类浆料(XZW-1)对粗纱黏附力、浆膜力学性能进行了对比,得到了适宜上浆的PAM。GPC测试结果显示成功合成了分子量为9.8×10^(4) g/mol、2.6×10^(5) g/mol、3.9×10^(5) g/mol、5.1×10^(5) g/mol、6.7×10^(5) g/mol的小分子量PAM浆料。PAM浆液黏度、浆膜断裂强度随分子量增加而增加,当PAM分子量为2.6×10^(5) g/mol时,浆膜断裂强度为2246.4 cN/mm^(2),粗纱黏附力(44.2 N)和浆膜断裂伸长率(1.23%)最高;与PVA(浆膜断裂强度:2613.8 cN/mm^(2),粗纱黏附力:43.1 N,浆膜断裂伸长率:1.17%)、XZW-1(浆膜断裂强度:2189.3 cN/mm^(2),粗纱黏附力:41.6 N,浆膜断裂伸长率:1.52%)性能相当,说明该分子量下的PAM浆料具备上浆性能。 In order to reduce the viscosity of PAM slurry,improve the slurry fluidity and expand its application in warp sizing,the polymerization process of small molecular weight polyacrylamide(PAM)was studied.In this paper,a series of PAM pastes with different molecular weights were synthesized by the aqueous solution polymerization method with ammonium persulfate(APS)-sodium bisulfite(NaHSO_(3))as the initiating system under low-temperature conditions.The effects of molecular weight on the performance of PAM slurry and slurry film were investigated by taking the rheology,roving adhesion and film mechanical properties as the indicators of the slurry;and the PAM slurries were compared with polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)and polyacrylic acid slurries(XZW-1)in terms of roving adhesion and film mechanical properties to get the PAMs that were suitable for sizing.The GPC test results showed the successful synthesis of small molecular weight PAM slurries with molecular weights of 9.8×10^(4)g/mol,2.6×10^(5)g/mol,3.9×10^(5)g/mol,5.1×10^(5)g/mol,and 6.7×10^(5)g/mol.The viscosity of the PAM slurry and the breaking strength of the slurry film improved with the increase of molecular weight,and when the molecular weight of the PAM was 2.6×10^(5)g/mol,the breaking strength of the slurry film was 2246.4 cN/mm^(2)and the roving adhesion(44.2 N)and slurry film elongation at break(1.23%)were the highest;it had comparable performance with PVA(slurry film breaking strength:2613.8 cN/mm^(2),roving adhesion:43.1 N,slurry film elongation at break:1.17%)and XZW-1(slurry film breaking strength:2189.3 cN/mm^(2),roving adhesion:41.6 N,slurry film elongation at break:1.52%),indicating that PAM pastes at this molecular weight had sizing performance.
