摘要
杨凌地区属于古邰地,据《诗经》《史记·周本纪》《汉书》《说文解字》等文献记载,“邰”传说是周人始祖后稷之母姜嫄的母国,后来帝尧将后稷封在邰地,并在邰“教民稼穑、树艺五谷”。杨凌作为先周农业的发祥地,沃野千里,明显的周期性气候特别适宜于原始农耕文化的发展。杨凌也发现了如古邰国遗址、坎家底遗址、姜嫄遗址等重要考古遗址,这些遗址实证了杨凌丰富的历史文化。1934年,肩负着建设西北、兴学强农的历史重任,由著名爱国民主人士于右任先生等倡导并创办了国立西北农林专科学校,选址在武功张家岗(今杨凌示范区),九十年来薪火相传,已发展成国内著名高等院校。关于西农的选址,背后其实根植于杨凌地区悠久的历史文化和考古调查:如1933年徐旭生先生的“陕西古迹调查”可能为下一年的建校提供了一些重要的资料,而1943年石璋如先生“传说中周都”的实地调查可能更为丰富了西农选址的重要内涵和意义。九十年来,西农始终不忘初心、薪火相传,赓续“执农不弃”的坚定理念,不断推动农业高新技术产业的创新与突破。
Yangling zone belongs to the ancient Tai,and according to documents,“Tai”is the name of Houji's mother Jiang Yuan’s country,the first ancestor of the Zhou people.Later Emperor Yao gave Tai to Houji as a fief,and Houji taught people to grow crops in Tai.Yangling,as the birthplace of pre-Zhou agriculture,has a fertile and wild land for thousands of miles,and its obvious periodic climate is particularly suitable for the development of primitive farming culture.Important archaeological sites have also been discovered in Yangling,such as Gutaiguo Site,Kanjiadi Site,and Jiangyuan Site,which demonstrate the rich pre-Zhou history of Yangling.In 1934,shouldering the historical responsibility of building the Northwest and promoting learning and strengthening agriculture,the National Northwest Agriculture and Forestry College(Xinong)was initiated and founded by Yu Youren and others,in Zhangjiagang,Wugong(today’s Yangling Demonstration Zone),which has developed into Northwest A&F University,a famous institution of higher learning,in the past 90 years.The site selection of Xinong is actually rooted in the long history,culture and archaeological investigation in Yangling zone:for example,Xu Xusheng’s“Shaanxi Historic Sites Survey”in 1933 may have provided some important materials for the next year’s construction of the university,while Shi Zhangru’s“Legendary Zhou Capital”field survey in 1943 may have enriched the important connotation and significance of the site selection of Xinong.In the past 90 years,Northwest A&F University has been continuing to remember the original intention,to keep the firm concept of“Persist in developing agriculture”,and to promote the innovation and breakthrough of agricultural high-tech industry.
