摘要
针对数据库系统原理教学过程中,学生学习积极性与主动性不足,课堂学习效率不高的问题,为了提高数据库系统原理与应用课程的教学效果,分析了数据库系统原理与应用课程性质及教学现状,提出了以过程为导向的探究式学习(Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning,POGIL)的数据库系统原理教学模式,并将其应用于数据库系统原理与应用课程教学过程中。以数据库规范化教学内容为例,详细描述了一个完整的POGIL活动,包括结构与内容,活动期间学生与教师的分工与任务,以及如何设计POGIL活动。
In response to the issues of insufficient student motivation and initiative,as well as low classroom learning efficiency in the teaching process of Database System Principles,in order to enhance the teaching effectiveness of the course on Database System Principle and Application,an analysis was conducted on the nature of this course and its current teaching status.Subsequently,a process oriented guided inquiry learning(POGIL)teaching model for Database System Principles was proposed and implemented in the teaching of Database System Principle and Application.Taking the database normalization teaching content as an example,a complete POGIL activity was described in detail,including the structure and content,the roles and tasks between students and teachers during the activity,and how to design POGIL activity.
