摘要
乙酸乙烯酯(VAc)的溶液聚合一般以甲醇为溶剂,但以甲醇为溶剂进行VAc与马来酰亚胺(HMI)的共聚研究目前较少报道。文中采用Finemen-Ross方法计算了VAc与HMI在甲醇中的竞聚率,分别是rHMI=4.15和rVAc=1.76×10^(-3)。之后采用饥饿投料法获得了一系列含有不同HMI含量的聚乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(PVAc/HMI),醇解后得到聚乙烯醇共聚物(PVA/HMI)。结果显示,随HMI投料比从0%(摩尔分数)增加到4%,所得PVAc/HMI的Tg上升了20%、弹性模量增加了67%,PVA/HMI的Tg上升了12%。
The solution polymerization of vinyl acetate(VAc)is generally carried out using methanol as solvent,while there are currently few reports on the copolymerization of maleimide(HMI)and VAc using methanol as solvent.In this article,the reactivity ratio of HMI and VAc in methanol calculated according to Finemen-Ross method,is rHMI=4.15 and rVAc=1.76×10^(-3).A series of vinyl acetate/N-maleimide copolymers(PVAc/HMI)with different HMI contents were prepared by starvation feeding method,and then the alcoholysis product PVA/HMI was obtained after alcoholysis.The test results show that,the Tg of PVAc/HMI and PVA/HMI is increased by 20%and 12%respectively,while the elastic modulus of PVAc/HMI is increased by 67%,as the HMI feed ratio increases from 0%to 4%.
