摘要
明代世情小说《金瓶梅》以西门庆的家庭生活为中心,塑造了一批性格各异的男仆伙计形象。这些人物频繁往来于家庭内外,维持着西门氏家族的日常运转。从工作属性来看,他们大致分为内、外两个系统,男仆们负责主人的衣食住行及社交往来等内事,伙计们则承担家族产业的经营打理等外事。其分工明确而各司其职,基本能完成家主所交付的各项任务。这一群体人数众多且社会关系复杂,他们与西门庆及其妻妾互相联系,形成一个交错复杂的家庭网络。从身份特征与叙述功能等方面来看,这些人物具有高度的相似性,均起到推动情节与补充西门庆形象的作用。此外,他们也以限制视角下的感知与行为,对一系列事件的发展产生影响,成为剧情发展的催化剂。在《金瓶梅》的角色系统中,这些男仆伙计与家主西门庆构成“形影替身”的关系,彼此相生而相映,相辅而相成,共同构成“酒色财气”形象的复合体。同时,他们也与西门家族的兴衰牢牢绑定,成为小说不可或缺的重要角色。
The late Ming romance novel Jin Ping Mei centered on the family life of Ximen Qing,and portrayed a group of male servants and fellows with different personalities,who frequently travel inside and outside the family to maintain the daily operation of the Ximen clan.From the point of view of work attributes,these characters are roughly divided into two systems:the internal and the external.The male servants are responsible for the master’s clothing,food,housing,transport and social contacts and other internal affairs,while the fellows are responsible for the management of the family’s industry and other external affairs.The division of labor was clear and each had his own duties,basically able to complete the tasks entrusted by the head of the family.This group is large in number and has complex social relations,and they are connected with Ximen Qing and his concubines,forming a complex family network.In terms of identity and narrative function,these characters have a high degree of similarity,and all of them play a role in promoting the plot and complementing the image of Ximen Qing.In addition,they also influence the development of a series of events with their perceptions and behaviors from restricted perspectives,serving as catalysts for the development of the plot.In the character system of Jin Ping Mei,these male servants and fellows form a relationship of“shadow and shadow double”with the main family,Ximen Qing,and together they form a composite of the image of“wine,sex,money and wealth”,which is a reflection of each other and a complement to each other.Meanwhile,they are also firmly bound to the rise and fall of the Ximen family,and are an indispensable and important role in the novel.
