Objective To analyze the effect of evidence-based preventive nursing on the control of vascular access complications in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods A total of 102 patients receiving maintenance dialysis treatment in our hospital from February 2022 to January 2024 were selected and divided into two groups according to random number table method. The control group received routine nursing and the observation group received evidence-based preventive nursing.Complication rate(abnormal bleeding, vascular occlusion, mood disorder, thrombosis, infection),vascular access status(degree of obstruction, blood flow, integrity, service life)and State-Trait Anxiety Inventory(STAI)before and after care were compared between the two groups, inflammatory response level improvement. Results The complication rate of observation group was lower than that of control group(P<0.05).The scores of state and trait anxiety after nursing in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The score of obstruction degree, blood flow, integrity degree and service life of observation group after nursing were higher than those of control group(P<0.05).The microinflammatory indexes of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Evidence-based preventive nursing can effectively reduce the incidence of vascular access complications in maintenance hemodialysis patients, reduce patients'anxiety.
