摘要
在2014年10月习近平总书记在给集美校友总会的回信中,嘉庚精神首次被提升到国家层面,被确立为中华民族精神和时代精神的重要组成部分。“忠公、诚毅、勤俭、创新”的嘉庚精神与社会主义核心价值观高度一致,二者的内在契合性在多个层面得到体现。陈嘉庚先生的思想和实践对中国式现代化产生了深远的影响,嘉庚精神所蕴含的爱国、奉献、重德、自强、清廉、创新等核心价值观,正是推动中国式现代化进程的强大动力源泉。新时期应以习近平总书记关于嘉庚精神的论述为指引,致力实现民族复兴,促进国家统一和繁荣,坚守以人民为中心,推进中国式现代化。
In October 2014,General Secretary Xi Jinping commended the spirit of Tan Kah Kee in a reply to the Jimei Alumni Association,marking its elevation to a national level and establishing it as a vital component of both the Chinese national spirit and contemporary values.This spirit,characterized by“loyalty to the public,integrity and perseverance,diligence and frugality,and innovation”aligns closely with the core values of socialism.The intrinsic connection between the two is evident on multiple levels.Tan Kah Kee’s thoughts and practices have significantly influenced the Chinese path to modernization.The core values embodied in the“spirit of Tan Kah Kee”including patriotism,dedication,moral integrity,self-reliance,honesty,and innovation,act as a powerful catalyst for the Chinese path to modernization.In the new era,inspired by General Secretary Xi Jinping’s discourse on the“spirit of Tan Kah Kee”we are called to pursue national rejuvenation,promote unity and prosperity,uphold a people centered approach,and advance the process of the Chinese path to modernization.
