This paper expounds the key technologies of intelligent inspection robots,including sensor technology,computer vision technology,and self navigation technology.It explores the specific application of intelligent inspection robots in substation operation and maintenance from the aspects of equipment inspection,environmental monitoring,safety monitoring,data analysis,and predictive maintenance.
