摘要
美国匹兹堡大学艺术史系及建筑史系高名潞教授在访谈中回顾了过去四十年的当代艺术策展经历和理论建构,探讨了展览策划与理论研究的关系、展陈空间对作品的影响、展览主体性的转移等问题。在艺术家的创作大多从个体出发、艺术批评较为沉寂的今天,依然有必要通过策展和理论的紧密结合发现当代艺术创作中的创新点,并有意识地建构理论体系和方法论。
In the interview,Professor Gao Minglu of the Department of History of Art&Architecture of University of Pittsburgh,looks back on the experience of contemporary art curating and theoretical construction over the past forty years,discussing the relationship between exhibition planning and theoretical research,the influence of exhibition space on works,and the transfer of the subjectivity of exhibitions.Nowadays,artists create with their ego in mind and art criticism is relatively inactive,it is still necessary to discover the innovative points in contemporary art creations through the close combination of curating and theory,and consciously construct the theoretical system andmethodology.
