In this paper,the"cultural-ecological"adaptability of the development of sports culture in Zhengjiazhuang,a traditional multi-ethnic village in Dali Prefecture, was studied by means of fieldwork and literature analysis. It shows that the village sports culture, represented by the traditional sports activities of ethnic minorities, has gone through the process of adapting from the traditional physical exercise with the main goal of physical fitness to the"development"with the integration into the"cultural heritage"and"cultural development"of the villages. This kind of change is representative of folk sports in multi-ethnic villages of the same type in China. In the study of"culture-ecology"adaptation,village sports culture faces the dilemmas of the deconstruction and weakening of the significance of traditional ethnic sports inheritance, the cultural eclipsing of traditional ethnic sports inheritance due to the cultural ecological change, and the cultural misconduct in the process of cultural ecological adaptation of village sports. In this regard, the following strategies are proposed:highlighting the contemporary value and cultural identity of traditional ethnic sports culture;promoting the inheritance, protection and development of village sports culture through the demonstration of national unity and progress;and reconstructing the"cultural-ecological"adaptability of the development of village sports culture.
