摘要
辽上京是辽代五京中营建最早、最为重要的都城。辽上京遗址位于内蒙古自治区巴林左旗林东镇东南,总面积约5平方公里(图一)。自2011年以来,中国社会科学院考古研究所内蒙古第二工作队与内蒙古自治区文物考古研究院联合组成辽上京考古队,对该遗址开展考古工作,紧密围绕辽代都城考古学研究的学术目标,通过系统的考古勘探和发掘,首次确认了辽上京宫城的四至范围和形制规模[1],从考古学上证实了皇城和宫城的朝向为东向[2].
In 2022,coring and excavation were conducted at No.1 Building foundation(2022JZ1)in the southern part of the Liao Dynasty imperial city of Shangjing.This building foundation,located west of the main street of the imperial city's southern gate,comprises the main hall of a large,south-facing courtyard complex.Throughout the Liao and Jin dynasties,three major construction phases established large-scale halls positioned on the north side,facing south.Although there were modifications to the building's platform size and column grid,the orientation and layout of the building and its courtyard were consistently maintained.This marks the first discovery of a high-ranking,south-facing building inside Liao Dynasty Shangjing,where east-facing buildings were generally preferred.This finding advances archaeological study of the layout,functional zoning,and planning concepts of the Liao dynasty's capital.
