In order to reduce the energy consumption of the crude oil storage and transportation system in an oilfield, the method of on-site investigation and analysis of equipment data has been used to master the information on the transportation distance, annual oil amounts and comprehensive energy consumption of each stations of crude oil storage and transportation system. The energy conservation potential of pipeline operation and the energy conservation potential of crude oil stations and depots are analyzed.By adopting energy conservation measures such as substituting electricity for crude oil,the minimum inlet temperature of pipelines and reducing the stage of centrifugal pumps are set up.The field operation shows that after implementing the"electricity instead of oil"project, the economic cost of energy consumption for Station C can be reduced by more than 50%.The operating losses of motor is reduced by installing inverters.Compared with the system before transformation, the operating energy consumption is reduced by 12.7%.After adopting the centrifugal pump stage reduction measures, the operating power of centrifugal pumps with working pressure below 1.5 MPa and flow rate of 100~120 m^(3)/h can be reduced by 1.6~4.6 kW.With an additional 20 m^(3)/h of oil delivery, the unit energy consumption is reduced by 0.0918 kWh,which makes the energy conservation effect more obvious.
