摘要
呼吸作用是生物体最重要的生命活动之一。线粒体呼吸链复合物是真核细胞执行呼吸作用提供能量的重要蛋白复合物。这些蛋白复合物之间还能进一步组装成超级复合物,甚至超超级复合物,从而有效提高能量转换效率、减少活性氧的产生。线粒体呼吸链复合物的结构异常或功能缺陷是导致线粒体疾病的重要因素。本文对线粒体呼吸链复合物、超级复合物的结构、功能与组装机制以及与线粒体疾病的关系进行综述,以期为中学生物学教师提供细胞呼吸相关教学内容的前沿拓展素材。
Respiration is one of the most important life activities of organisms.Mitochondrial respiratory chain complexes are important protein complexes that provide energy for eukaryotic cells to perform respiration(oxidative phosphorylation).These protein complexes can further assemble with each other to form supercomplexes or even megacomplexes,which can effectively improve the energy conversion efficiency and reduce the production of active oxygen.Structural abnormalities or functional defects in mitochondrial respiratory chain complexes are important factors leading to mitochondrial diseases.This paper provides an overview of the structures,functions,and assembly mechanism of mitochondrial respiratory chain complexes and supercomplexes as well as their relationships with mitochondrial diseases.It aims to provide a cutting-edge extended teaching material on cellular respiration for middle school biological teachers.
