摘要
认知科学提供了揭示文学作品新信息的有效研究方法,许多经典文学作品得到了新的阐释和解读,使得重写文学史在学理上成为可能。本文以英国文艺复兴时期数部戏剧为研究案例,从具身认知、认知投射、认知修辞三个方面探讨英国文艺复兴时期戏剧在人物塑造、主题表现、语言修辞等方面所体现的认知属性,从而证实撰写英国戏剧认知史的可能性和可行性。
Cognitive science provides effective research methods for revealing new information in literary works,leading to fresh interpretations and analyses of many classic literary pieces.This enables a theoretical possibility of rewriting literary history.This article takes several plays from the English Renaissance period as case studies,exploring the cognitive aspects manifested in character development,thematic expressions,and linguistic rhetoric through embodied cognition,cognitive projection,and cognitive rhetoric.As a result,it confirms the potential and feasibility of composing a cognitive history of English drama.
