In this study,Romaine Lettuce,Lactuca sativa L,Cichorium engivia L.and Chrysanthemum coronarium were used as test materials, the effects of different nutrient solution formulas on the growth and quality of 4 Asteraceae leafy vegetables were compared by using deep liquid flow technology,in order to screen out the nutrient solution formulas suitable for industrial production. The results showed that under the same management mode, different nutrient solution formulas had different effects on leafy vegetables.Among them, the leafy vegetables cultivated by formula A(N∶P∶K=15.6∶1∶10)had weak growth, light leaf color and poor commercial character. The leafy vegetables cultivated by formula B(N∶P∶K=13.6∶1.3∶8)had robust plant type and high vitamin C content, but the accumulation of nitrate in the leaves was large. The plant height, root length,SPAD,yield per plant of leaf vegetables cultured with formula C nutrient solution were higher than other treatments.Combined with the comprehensive indexes of various variety,it was concluded that formula C(N∶P∶K=12.6∶1.3∶8)had excellent performance in the growth and quality indexes of leaf vegetables, could be used as the best formula for the growth of most leafy vegetables, providing a theoretical basis for the high-quality and high-yield cultivation of hydroponic leaf vegetables in the future.
