摘要
聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT)具有较高的强度和硬度,由其制备的光纤二次被覆松套管的抗弯折性能较差。采用以PBT作为刚性硬段和无定型聚四氢呋喃(PTMEG)作为柔性软段制得的热塑性聚酯弹性体(TPEE)对PBT进行改性。研究了不同比例TPEE/PBT共混体系的熔融和结晶行为,并分析了其力学性能变化;同时验证了采用TPEE改性PBT材料制备的光纤二次被覆用松套管的弯曲性能、抗侧压力、轴向热收缩率、油膏相容性、热老化性能。研究结果表明,该类TPEE对PBT有着很好的增韧作用,TPEE改性PBT材料可用作光纤用二次被覆材料,提高松套管的抗弯折性能,以满足用户在光纤接续中对松套管弯曲性能的较高要求。
PBT has high strength and hardness, and the optical fiber secondary coating loose tube made from it has poor bending resistance. PBT is modified using TPEE made with PBT as rigid hard segment and amorphous PTMEG as flexible soft segment. The melting and crystallization behaviors of TPEE/PBT blends with different ratios are studied, and their mechanical properties are analyzed. At the same time, the bending performance, lateral pressure, axial thermal shrinkage rate, filling gel compatibility, and thermal aging performance of the loose tube for secondary coating of optical fibers prepared with TPEE modified PBT material are verified. The research results indicate that this type of TPEE has a good toughening effect on PBT, and TPEE modified PBT material can be used as secondary coating material for optical fibers to improve the bending resistance of the loose tube and meet the high requirements of customers for the bending performance of the loose tube in optical fiber fusion splicing.
