摘要 《瞬息全宇宙》(EEAAO)由美国知名独立电影工作室A24出品,以融合复杂主题的叙事为鲜明特征。本文剖析了这部影片的叙述逻辑,尤其对多元宇宙这一叙事设定的熟练运用。笔者认为编导双人组丹尼尔·关和丹尼尔·施因内特巧妙运用多元宇宙这个设定,来探索移民内部存在的种族和文化冲突以及他们与美国政府之间的冲突,这标志着多元宇宙叙事迎来了新的文化里程碑。此外,影片中的多元宇宙概念也是一种隐喻,深入探讨了父权社会中女性的边缘化和酷儿经历,揭示了伊芙琳和乔伊体现的复杂交叉性身份。最后,通过阐明多元宇宙与影片“去中心化”叙事的融合,本文探讨了A24在塑造好莱坞电影未来中的可能作用,并指出《瞬息全宇宙》不仅仅是一部电影,更是引领行业叙事和表现形式进化的灯塔。 Everything Everywhere All at Once(EEAAO),a production by the esteemed American indie film studio A24,encapsulates an intricate web of themes within the narrative.In this paper the film's narrative ingenuity is analyzed,notably its adept use of the concept of the multiverse,a prevalent device in contemporary storytelling.I argue that the writer/director duo,Daniel K wan and Daniel Scheinert,have silfully employed the multiverse to explore diverse realities beyond the primary plot,tackling immigrant community conflicts and cultural clashes with the American power structure,making it a cultural milestone in multiverse storytelling.As a metaphor for the intricate intersectional identities emerging in contemporary society,the multiverse concept iluminates the liminal and queer experiences of Evelyn and Joy as women seeking identities within patriarchal social structures.By integrating the multiverse into its decentralized narrative,the film provides insights into Hollywood's evolving landscape,and this analysis is an exploration of A24's potential role in shaping the cinematic future.Thus EEAAO stands not merely as a film but as a spotlight on the film industry s evolution as a medium of storytelling and representation.
