摘要
以女性研究为切入口,在“宗教之于女性”和“女性之于宗教”的双重研究路径下,管佩达对“传统”中国女性信仰生活进行了考察。她以中国女性自我书写为材料,在中国佛教文化中发现了女性之内在精神与自我认同,探究了佛教女性之诗歌创作和女性交往历史,重构了这些女性的真实生活语境,还原了她们在佛教历史上的主体性。管佩达以其女性研究的“中国经验”作为一种思想文化资源,将跨文化视域、平易化表述和从边缘观照主流的方法相结合,应对西方女性研究之困境。
Taking women studies as the starting point,Beata Grant conducted an investigation into the religious life of traditional Chinese women under the dual research path of understanding“religion for women”and“women for religion”.Using materials written by Chinese women,she discovers the inner spirit and self-identity of women in Chinese Buddhist culture, explores the history of the creation of Buddhist women’s poetry and of female communication, reconstructs the real-life context of these women, and restores their subjectivity in Buddhist history. Accordingly, Grant uses her “Chinese experience” of Chinese women studies as an ideological and cultural resource, and combines cross-cultural perspectives, common expressions and observation of the mainstream from the edge to deal with the dilemma of Western women studies.
