摘要
理论分析城市紧凑度影响城市创新能力的多重效应。在测算31个大中城市紧凑度的基础上,实证分析城市紧凑度与城市创新能力的关系和驱动效应。研究表明:整体而言,城市紧凑度能够显著促进城市创新能力的提高。区域异质性方面,中西部城市相比东部城市,其紧凑度提高更能够显著地提高城市创新能力。城市规模异质性方面,大城市紧凑度越高,越能够促进城市创新;但是特大城市的紧凑发展模式对创新影响并不显著。影响机制方面,城市紧凑度通过直接效应、人力资本的知识溢出效应、产业多样的集聚经济效应和交通通达的时空压缩效应等多重效应驱动城市创新能力的提升。
This paper theoretically analyzed the multiple effects of urban compactness on urban innovation ability.And based on the measurement of 31 large and medium-sized cities compactness,it analyzed the relationship between urban compactness and urban innovation capability.The study shows that,on the whole,the urban compactness can significantly promote the improvement of urban innovation ability,but in terms of regional heterogeneity,the central and western cities can more significantly improve the level of urban innovation compared with the eastern cities.In terms of the heterogeneity of city size,the compactness of large cities can significantly improve the level of urban innovation,while the compactness of mega-cities has no significant impact on innovative development.In terms of the influence mechanism,urban compactness drives the improvement of urban innovation ability through direct effect,knowledge spillover effect of human capital,agglomeration effect of industrial diversification and space-time compression effect of traffic access.
