摘要
夏商时期遗址的遗物时代遥远,所载历史信息不直观,且遗址内部和遗址之间同质性均较强,观众欣赏、理解难度较大,需要通过解读和设计予以阐释,盘龙城展览提供了可供借鉴的手法。过分倚重“物”的运用易造成历史脉络和考古学认识的表达局限,不能实现“透物见人”目标。遗址博物馆有必要结合新近研究进展,向公众诠释对遗址的认识。盘龙城展览在展览框架上进行了探索,将遗址之内与遗址之外划分为不同叙事单元,强化了总体性视角。但比较视野仍然需要在展览中得到强调。同时,对遗址地位的突出不能代替对遗址性质的揭示,不应回避学术争议与热点问题,而应呈现最新学术动态,引发观众思考。
The artifacts from the Xia and Shang periods often present a challenge for museum visitors to appreciate and understand due to several factors:the considerable temporal distance of these dynasties,the subtlety of the historical information embedded within the objects and the homogeneity observed both within individual sites and across different sites from the same era.In this context,interpretative analysis and thoughtful design are necessary.The methodologies employed in the Panlongcheng exhibition can serve as a valuable reference.An overemphasis on the tangible aspects of"objects"can restrict historical narrative and archaeological interpretation,which then may hinder the goal of revealing the social and cultural contexts inherent in artifacts.It is crucial for site museums to not only present their exhibit findings but also to integrate recent research advancements to provide a comprehensive interpretation of the site.The Panlongcheng exhibition has explored a holistic framework by distinguishing between narratives of the interior and exterior aspects of the site.Nonetheless,a comparative viewpoint should be emphasized within the exhibition.Furthermore,highlighting a site's significance should not overshadow the elucidation of its properties.Engaging with scholarly debates and hot-button issues is essential for museums.By presenting the forefront of academic development,museums can encourage audience to engage in contemplation.
