Scientific and technological innovation is an important force driving the development of green buildings, and patents are an important symbol of innovation achievements.Taking China s green building invention patent applications from 1985 to 2021 as the research object, statistical analysis and social network analysis methods were used to explore the status quo of China s green building patents and the overall structure and evolution characteristics of the applicant s cooperation network. Results show that:the number of green building invention patent applications continues to grow, and the technical layout is more extensive, but the geographical distribution is uneven;the overall patent cooperation network has the characteristics of“small world”and“scale-freeness”,and the network density and cooperation frequency are low,but the network center forms two cohesive subgroups;the evolution of the green building patent cooperation network has the characteristics of gradually enriching the types of innovation subjects, more diversified cooperation modes, and gradually expanding the scale of cohesive subgroups. The government should strengthen continuous attention to green buildings, and at the same time, the innovation subjects should also strengthen cooperation, effectively integrate resources, and continuously promote the development and cooperation of green building patents.
