摘要
目的了解新渡户近扭白蚁Pericapritermes nitobei(Shiraki)的巢群结构特点和生物学习性,掌握其工蚁肠道的理化特性,以便为生产上资源化利用这种白蚁提供必需的基础信息。方法采用现场调查和室内观测相结合的方法,明确新渡户近扭白蚁的巢群结构特点和生物学习性;通过肠道解剖和生物化学测定方法解析新渡户近扭白蚁工蚁的肠道结构和肠道不同部位的生理学特性。结果新渡户近扭白蚁以土壤腐殖质为食,工蚁消化道内含有氨和硝酸盐,但亚硝酸盐的含量极低;直肠(P5)中氨和硝酸盐的含量最高,其次是管状结肠(P4)。从嗦囊(C)到回肠(P1),pH值逐渐升高,在回肠处达到最高值,随后又逐步下降至弱酸性;氧化还原电位则相反,呈现出从嗦囊(C)到后肠先降低后增高的趋势,回肠(P1)段最低;整个消化道内氢气的含量无明显变化。结论其工蚁的肠道生理特性具有独特性。因此,在仿生利用新渡户近扭白蚁降解农林废弃物时,需要考虑其与其他白蚁所不同的生理学特点。
Objective To understand the nesting structure and biological learning characteristics of Pericapritermes nitobei(Shiraki),and to grasp the physical and chemical characteristics of the worker intestine of worker termite,in order to provide essential basic information for the production and utilization of this termite.Methods Field investigation and laboratory observation were combined to clarify the nest structure and biological habit of Pericapritermes nitobei.Intestinal anatomy and biochemical assay were used to analyze different parts of intestinal structure and physiological characteristics of Pericapritermes nitobei Results The Pericapritermes nitobei feed humus in soil.The digestive tract of worker termites contains ammonia and nitrate,but nitrite content is very low.The rectum(P5)had the highest levels of ammonia and nitrate,followed by the tubular colon(P4).From the crop(C)to the ileum(P1),the pH value gradually increased,reached the highest value in the ileum,and then gradually decreased to weakly acidic.On the contrary,the REDOX potential decreased first and then increased from the wordy sac(C)to the posterior intestine,and the ileum(P1)segment was the lowest.There was no significant change in the hydrogen content in the whole digestive tract Conclusion The intestinal physiological characteristics of its workers are unique.Therefore,it is necessary to consider the different physiological characteristics of Pericapritermes nitobei in biodegradation of agricultural and forestry waste.
