Cardiac troponin plays a crucial role in the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases(including acute myocardial infarction).With the improvement of laboratory testing methods for cardiac troponin,the possibility of using cardiac troponin for diagnosis is also increasing.This article will discuss the application and significance of cardiac troponin measured by modern high-sensitivity immunoassay in cardiovascular disease risk assessment in healthy individuals.
