This paper introduces the definition,system composition and development history of ship communication and navigation technology.It detailedly discusses modern ship communication and navigation technologies,including global navigation satellite system(GNSS)technology,automatic identification system(AIS)technology,radar and sonar technology,the communication system,and marine navigation software and self-contained navigation technology,analyzes the challenges and limitations of existing technologies,explores the trends and possible future development directions of emerging technologies,proposes prospects for ship communication and navigation technology,and emphasizes its importance in improving maritime safety,efficiency and sustainability.
