摘要
共生是重要的生态学现象,在植物界普遍存在,但在以海草为代表的海洋植物中相关研究较少。在观察到海南岛海草床中泰来草(Thalassia hemprichii)与圆叶丝粉草(Cymodocea rotundata)高度重叠分布的现象后,本研究通过设计模拟实验,将2种海草进行单独种植与混合种植,从而评价共同生长对泰来草和圆叶丝粉草生理与生长状况的影响规律,探究2种海草的共生机制。研究结果表明:地上部分,泰来草与圆叶丝粉草共同生长的环境能提高圆叶丝粉草的初级生产力,表现为提高圆叶丝粉草的叶片生长速率与平均叶面积;能有效促进圆叶丝粉草叶片的氮、磷元素积累;与泰来草共生能增强圆叶丝粉草的光合作用与抗逆性,表现为叶绿素a、叶绿素b与类胡萝卜素3类光合色素含量与淀粉、可溶性糖以及可溶性蛋白3类对细胞渗透有重要作用的光合产物含量均显著(P<0.05)或极显著增加(P<0.01)。而在地下部分,圆叶丝粉草的根系活力也在共生环境中有显著提高。但共生环境对泰来草的生理与生长特性的影响不显著。因此,与泰来草共同生长能增强圆叶丝粉草的生理与生长活性,属于对圆叶丝粉草有利的偏利共生。
There are few researches about commensalism—an important ecological phenomenon,existing widely in the plant kingdom—in marine plant,such as seagrass.The phenomenon of highly overlapping distribution of Thalassia hemp⁃richii and Cymodocea rotundata in the seagrass meadows of Hainan Island having been discovered,a simulation experi⁃ment was conducted by separate and mixed planting of the two seagrass species,so as to evaluate the influence of the commensalism environment on the physiological and growth conditions of Thalassia hemprichii and Cymodocea rotundata,and explore the symbiosis mechanism of the two seagrasses.It was found that the symbiotic environment could improve the primary productivity of Cymodocea rotundata,which showed that the leaf growth rate and average leaf area of Cymodocea rotundata was improved.Besides,the symbiotic environment could effectively promote the accumulation of nitrogen and phos⁃phorus elements in the leaves of Cymodocea rotundata.The commensalism with Thalassia hemprichii could increase the pho⁃tosynthetic pigments contents of Cymodocea rotundata,such as Chl⁃a,Chl⁃b and carotenoid.The contents of photosynthates—starch,soluble sugar and soluble protein,which are important for cell permeation—were significantly(P<0.05)or extreme significantly(P<0.01)increased,which could be taken as the evidences of enhancing the photosynthesis and stress resis⁃tance of Cymodocea rotundata.In the underground part,the root activity of the Cymodocea rotundata also increased signifi⁃cantly in the symbiotic environment.However,symbiotic environment had no significant effect on the physiological and growth characteristics of Thalassia hemprichii.Therefore,co-growing with Thalassia hemprichii,a favorable and partial com⁃mensalism for the Cymodocea rotundata,could enhance the physiological and growth activities of Cymodocea rotundata.
