摘要
光学课程是应用物理学和光电信息科学与工程专业一门重要的专业基础课程,与专业方向密切相关,强调理论与实验相结合.针对光学课程的特点和教学要求,我们探索教学方法和形式的改革,把光学前沿研究实验与光学基础理论知识结合,通过拓展实验加深学生对基础知识的理解,提高学生对相关光学前沿研究的兴趣.以涡旋光产生的实验为例,探讨基于空间光调制器从设计和制备光栅到光栅衍射,加深学生对光栅和光栅衍射的认识和理解;从涡旋光进一步认识光场的空间强度分布、螺旋相位和轨道角动量,激发学生对光学前沿的研究兴趣.实践表明,新的光学前沿拓展实验能增强学生的学习兴趣,提高教学质量,激发学生的研究和探索热情,有利于培养学生的创新意识和创新能力.
Optics is an important professional basic course in majors of applied physics and optoelectronic information science and engineering.It is closely related to the professional direction and emphasizes the combination of theory and experiment.According to the characteristics and teaching requirements of the optical course,we explore the reform of teaching methods and forms and combine the optical frontier research experiment with the basic theoretical knowledge of optics,in order to deepen the students′understanding of the basic knowledge and guide the students′interest into the relevant optical frontier research fields by utilizing the developing experiments.Taking the experiment of vortex generation as an example,this paper discusses the design and preparation of grating and grating diffraction based on the spatial light modulator,so as to deepen students′understanding of grating and grating diffraction.It also stimulates further understanding of students on the spatial intensity distribution,spiral phase and orbital angular momentum of vortex beam,and arouses students′research interest.This practice demonstrates that the new optical frontier developing experiment can enhance students'interest in learning,improve the teaching quality,stimulate students′enthusiasm for research and exploration,and help to cultivate the students′innovative awareness and ability.
