摘要
高铁直通极大地促进了我国城市间要素流动,推进城市间知识溢出水平的提升,促进城市进一步发展。然而,高铁是否能够缩小城市间知识溢出差距、带动沿线城市均衡化发展仍然值得探讨。本文利用2003~2022年高铁直通和专利引用数据,构造包含80940个城市对的面板数据,考察城市间高铁直通对城市间知识溢出差距变化的影响。研究发现:高铁直通扩大了城市间知识溢出差距,知识向高发展水平城市净流出,知识要素分布的不均衡性加剧。高铁直通对知识溢出差距的影响在不同发展水平、不同地理和经济距离、不同城市群中的城市对中存在差异。本文为进一步完善高铁网络、缩小城市间知识溢出差距、促进协调发展提供政策参考。
The connection of high-speed rail has greatly promoted the flow of factors between Chinese cities,promoted the level of knowledge spillover between cities,and promoted further development of cities.However,it is still worth exploring whether high-speed rail can narrow the knowledge spillover gap between cities and drive the balanced development of cities along the railway line.This article uses high-speed rail connection data and patent citation data from 2003 to 2022 to construct panel data consisting of 80940 city pairs to examine the impact of intercity high-speed rail on knowledge spillover gaps between cities.The study finds that:the direct connection of high-speed rail has expanded the knowledge spillover gaps between cities,resulting in a net outflow of knowledge to the cities of high development levels,and the imbalance in the distribution of knowledge elements has intensified.The impact of high-speed rail on knowledge spillover gaps varies among city pairs of different development levels,city pairs with different geographical and economic distance,and city pairs in different urban agglomerations.This article provides policy reference for further improving the high-speed rail network,narrowing the knowledge spillover gaps between cities,and promoting coordina⁃ted development.
