摘要
反事实条件句是反事实思维的语言表征。本研究提出反事实条件句的基线/阐释认知操作本质,通过对阐释方式的细化,分析形成英汉差异的认知基础,据此提出反事实句习得的语言层迁移和概念化迁移假设。为论证此假设,本研究借助HSK和BCC语料库,对比英语为母语的汉语学习者与汉语母语者在反事实句使用上的表现,发现学习者在反事实标记词整体使用情况和标记词个体使用差异方面,受到母语使用的影响。同时,学习者使用反事实句主要用以表达客观义,其主观义表达以推测功能为主,也说明语言层迁移和相应概念化迁移的发生。本研究从反事实句的认知本质探讨到以汉语为外语的学习者语言产出的证据支撑,构建了新的研究思路,具有一定理论和应用价值。
Counterfactual conditional sentences are linguistic representation of counterfactual thinking.The present study has discovered that the cognitive operation of baseline/elaboration underlies counterfactual conditional sentences.Through specifying the operation of elaboration,the study analyzes the cognition basis which causes differences between English and Chinese counterfactual expressions.According to the analysis,the study puts forward hypotheses of linguistic transfer and conceptualization transfer in the acquisition of counterfactual expressions.With the assistance of corpora HSK and BCC,and by comparing English natives as Chinese learners and Chinese natives in their use of counterfactual sentences,it has been found that learners are influenced by their native language English and perform differently from Chinese natives in the general use of counterfactual markers and in the use of individual markers.Meanwhile,that learners mainly use counterfactual sentences to convey objective meanings and that subjective meanings in their expressions tend to be of predictive function also indicate the occurrence of linguistic transfer and the corresponding conceptualization transfer.From the discussion on cognitive essence of counterfactual sentences to the support of evidence from the language production of Chinese learners,the study constructs a new research path which is supposed to be theoretically and practically meaningful.
