摘要
数字技术的发展促使企业创新形式发生了转变,开放式创新逐渐成为创新的主流范式。基于2013—2020年我国A股上市制造业企业数据,本文主要探究数字化转型对企业创新开放度的影响及其作用机制。研究发现,企业数字化转型程度对创新开放度呈现非线性的倒U型关系,适度数字化转型促进企业创新开放,而过度数字化转型则会对企业创新开放产生“过犹不及”效应。这一结论经过稳健性检验和内生性处理后依然成立。另外,异质性检验发现,上述结论在企业规模、要素密集度、知识产权保护水平和市场竞争程度上均存在差异化效果。进一步机制检验表明,数字化转型主要通过作用于企业全要素生产率进而影响企业的创新开放度。
The development of digital technology has prompted a transformation in the forms of enterprise innovation,with open innovation gradually becoming the mainstream paradigm of innovation.Based on the data of manufacturing companies listed on the A-share market in China from 2013 to 2020,this paper primarily investigates the impact and mechanism of digital transformation on the openness of innovation in enterprises.The study found that the degree of digital transformation in enterprises exhibits a non-linear inverted U-shaped relationship with innovation openness.Moderate digital transformation promotes innovation openness in enterprises,while excessive digital transformation can lead to an"overkill"effect on innovation openness.This finding still holds after robustness test and endogeneity treatment.Additionally,heterogeneity tests reveal differentiated effects of the above conclusion across firm size,factor intensity,level of intellectual property protection,and degree of market competition.Further mechanism tests indicate that digital transformation primarily affects the openness of innovation in enterprises by acting on total factor productivity.
