摘要
本文以概念隐喻为理论基础,以《中国关键词》汉韩双语文本为研究对象,探讨了外宣文献中隐喻的韩译策略。共提炼出同位映射、错位映射、空位映射、混合映射和添位映射五种意象映射类型,其中添位映射完善了以往翻译过程中被忽略的在译文中添加隐喻的情况。并在Newmark的七大翻译策略基础上,结合韩语特点重新阐释、扩充了韩译策略。隐喻韩译过程中,会发生类别的转换,这为译者提供了新思路,即翻译过程中可以适当调整隐喻类别以适应异质文化受众的文化模型。
Based on the conceptual metaphor theory,this paper takes the Chinese and Korean bilingual text of Keywords to Understand China to understand China as the research object to explore the Korean translation strategies of metaphors in external publicity literature.Five types of metaphors are extracted:apposition mapping,dislocation mapping,vacancy mapping,mixed mapping,and addition mapping,in which addition mapping improves the situation of adding metaphors in translation,which has been neglected in the previous translation process.On the basis of Newmark’s seven translation strategies,the paper reinterprets and expands the Korean translation strategies combined with the characteristics of Korean.The transformation of categories occurs in the process of metaphor translation,which provides translators with a new idea that the translation process can appropriately adjust the metaphorical categories to fit the cultural models of heterogeneous cultural audiences.
