摘要
科学史作为研究科学发展历史的学科,对于理解科学的本质和科学发展历程具有重要意义。然而,科学史往往被认为是一门专业性较强的学科,普及的必要性不强,因此普及的程度不高。文章从科学知识地理学的研究进路出发,以《科学史讲义Ⅱ——天文台、博物馆、实验室,科学实践的场所》为研究对象,考察其运用科学知识地理学撰写的科学史的理论立场和撰写策略,认为科学知识地理学进路下的科学史有助于提高公众对科学史的认知程度和兴趣,是提高公众科学素养的一种有益尝试。
The study of the history of science,as a discipline exploring the developmental journey of scientific endeavors,holds paramount significance in understanding the essence of science and its historical evolution.However,often perceived as a highly specialized field,the popularization of science history is deemed less imperative,resulting in limited outreach.This article,employing the research approach of scientific knowledge geography,focuses on the book A Companion to the History of ScienceⅡ.It examines the theoretical framework and writing strategies employed within the realm of scientific knowledge geography.The conclusion posits that adopting the scientific knowledge geography approach in the writing of science history can enhance public awareness and interest,representing a beneficial endeavor to elevate public scientific literacy.
