This paper discusses the application of 4K and 8K ultra high definition technology in television news production,focusing on the analysis of the actual operation process,technical parameters and related equipment of these advanced technologies.First,the core technical indicators of 4K/8K technology are introduced,including resolution and frame rate,as well as related equipment commonly used in news production.Secondly,the application of 4K/8K technology in the field of news collection and post-production is described in detail,including the key steps of camera setup,video data processing and editing.Thirdly,the main technical challenges in capturing,editing,and transmitting 4K/8K video are analyzed,and concrete cases are used to demonstrate how these technologies can be effectively applied in actual news production.Finally,the application of 4K/8K technology in the field of television news production is summarized,and its future development trend is prospected.
