热浸镀锌低碳钢丝表面结瘤及镀层脱落分析及控制

Analysis and control of nodules and coating shedding on surface of hot-dip galvanized low-carbon steel wire

摘要 针对热浸镀锌低碳钢丝表面的锌瘤及镀层脱落问题,利用X射线光电子能谱、扫描电子显微镜以及能谱仪进行了成因分析,并提出了控制措施。结果表明,热浸镀锌低碳钢丝表面产生锌瘤是由于原料丝表面残留的含硅氧化物与锌液反应产生“圣德林效应”,导致局部镀层增厚;镀层脱落是由于钢丝浸镀时间过长,导致塑性不佳的合金层过度生长。因此建议严格控制加热、酸洗工艺,以清除钢丝表面的氧化物残留,同时可往锌锅中加入一定量的镍和铝,以抑制“圣德林效应”的发生和防止合金层的过度长大。研究结果对提升产品质量、实现产品升级有着重要意义。 Aiming at the problem of zinc nodule and coating shedding on the surface of hot-dip galvanized low-carbon steel wire,the causes were analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy and energy spectrometer,then the control measures were put forward.The results show that zinc nodules originate from localized thickening of the coating,which due to the reaction of residual Si-containing oxides on the surface of the raw material wire with the zinc to produce the"Sandelin effect".The shedding of the coating is due to the excessive growth of alloy layer with poor plasticity due to the long immersion time of the steel wire.Therefore,it is recommended to strictly control the heating and pickling process to remove oxide residues on the surface of the steel wire.At the same time,a certain amount of nickel and aluminum can be added to the zinc pot to inhibit the occurrence of the"Sandelin effect"and the excessive growth of the alloy layer.The research results are of great significance for improving product quality and realizing product upgrading.
