摘要
本文以国内增加值出口为视角,利用我国与55个贸易伙伴国17个制造业行业2002—2018年的相关数据,从理论与实证两方面深入探讨数字技术投入对我国制造业形成国内增加值出口的本地市场效应的影响及作用机制。研究发现:数字技术投入水平提升显著促进了我国制造业形成国内增加值出口的本地市场效应,该结论在经过一系列稳健性、内生性检验之后依然成立;异质性分析表明,数字技术对我国制造业形成国内增加值出口的本地市场效应的影响会因数字技术来源差异、产品特征差异、制造业要素密集度差异以及国家收入水平差异而表现出异质性;机制检验显示:数字技术投入水平提升通过降低贸易成本、提高研发投入强度与创新成果转化能力以及推进制造业服务化促使我国制造业形成国内增加值出口的本地市场效应。
From the perspective of domestic value-added exports,this paper employs data spanning from 2002 to 2018,encompassing 17 manufacturing sectors across 55trading partner countries.We undertake both theoretical and empirical analyses to investigate the impact and mechanisms of digital technology input on the formation of home market effects of domestic value-added exports in China's manufacturing.The findings indicate that an increase in digital technology input significantly promotes the formation of home market effects of domestic value-added exports in China's manufacturing.This correlation remains after various robustness and endogeneity tests.Heterogeneity analysis reveals variations in the impact of digital technology on the formation of home market effects,contingent upon differences in digital technology sources,product characteristics,manufacturing factor intensity,and national income levels.Mechanism tests further show that increased digital technology input propels China's manufacturing to form home market effects of domestic value-added exports through three channels:reducing trade costs,augmenting R&D investment intensity and innovation achievement transformation ability,and fostering manufacturing service orientation.
