滇系军阀唐继尧和上海朗华影片公司合作拍摄护国战争电影《再造共和》(后更名为《洪宪之战》上映)之事是一个值得关注的电影史研究话题。为宣扬自身在护国战争中的功绩,1926年,唐继尧找到朗华影片公司赴云南拍摄电影。影片由其亲自主演,并动员军队与学生参与拍摄。1927年,唐继尧下台,后在龙云的支持下,影片得以完成并更名为《洪宪之战》,于1928年上映。该片是云南首部故事片,文章通过报刊和档案还原了拍摄经过,反映了当时电影与政治的关系。
This film history study examines the production of the war film"The Reforge of the Republic"(later retitled"The Battle of Anti-Yuan Shikai"upon release),a collaboration between Yunnan warlord Tang Jiyao(Tang Chi-yao)and the Shanghai Langhua Film Company.The goal was to produce a portrayal of Tang's military successes during the National Protection War against Yuan Shikai.In 1926,seeking to publicize his wartime achievements,Tang invited the Langhua Film Company to travel to Yunnan and shoot locally.Tang starred as himself in the film and mobilized troops and students to participate in the production.After Tang was deposed in 1927,the film was completed under the support of his successor,Long Yun,and released in 1928 as"The Battle of Anti-Yuan Shikai."This film marked Yunnan's first feature film.This article depicts the filming process by analyzing newspapers and archival sources,illuminating the relationship between cinema and politics at that tumultuous time in Chinese history.
