Design of Weather Radar Location Software Based on Digital Elevation Model

摘要 针对各型天气雷达大量建设部署,却仍缺少准确直观判断单站雷达净空环境和组网雷达探测盲区分析软件的问题,设计开发了一种基于数字高程模型的天气雷达选址软件。软件使用雷达站点、数字高程模型、遮挡障碍物等地理信息数据,处理绘制单站雷达遮蔽角图、等射束高度图及组网雷达等射束高度拼图。通过Python语言编程,结合数字高程模型计算雷达站点的遮挡仰角、遮挡方位与等射束高度最大探测距离,分析所选站址净空条件。利用湖北省天气雷达网作为实际应用背景,与视程客观分析软件展开结果比对。实验结果表明:天气雷达选址软件应用数字高程模型等地理信息数据可算出拟选站址四周的遮挡情况,显示天气雷达的实际探测范围,为雷达建设组网提供技术支撑。 In order to solve the problem that a large number of weather radars are constructed and deployed,but there is still a lack of software to accurately and intuitively judge the headroom environment of single station radar and analyze the blind area of network radar detection,therefore,a weather radar location selection software based on digital elevation model is designed and developed.The software uses geographic information data such as radar sites,digital elevation model,and shielding ob⁃stacles to process and draw the shielding angle map of single station radar,the equal beam height map and the equal beam height puzzle of network radar.Using Python programming language and digital elevation model are used to calculate the occlusion elevation,occlusion orientation,and maximum de⁃tection distance of equal beam height for radar stations,and analyze the clearance conditions of the selected station site.The weather radar network of Hubei Province is used as the practical application background,and the results are compared with the visual range objective analysis software.The experimental re⁃sults show that the weather radar site selection software can use geographic information data such as digital elevation models to calculate the occlusion situation around the proposed site,display the actual detection range of the weather radar,and provide technical support for radar network construction.
