Objective To investigate the effect of sacubitril/valsartan combined with metoprolol on cardiac function of patients with coronary artery heart disease(CAD)and chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods A total of 216 patients with CAD and CHF admitted to the Shaoxing Central Hospital from March 2020 to October 2021 were enrolled and divided into an observation group and a control group, with 108 cases in each group. Both groups were given routine treatments including metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablet. The observation group was added with sacubitril/valsartan.The clinical efficacy, cardiac function and serum indexes were compared between the two groups. Results The treatment efficacy was significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group(P=0.001).After treatment, the early diastolic peak filling velocity and left ventricular ejection fraction in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group and before treatment, while the late diastolic peak filling velocity was significantly lower than those in the control group and before treatment(all P=0.001).After treatment, growth differentiation factor 15,cyclophilin,and brain natriuretic peptide in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group and before treatment(all P<0.05).Conclusion Sacubitril/valsartan combined with metoprolol can effectively improve cardiac function of patients with CAD and CHF.
