摘要
晚清民国时期,中国在内忧外患的时代背景下发生巨大变化,文物古迹遭受极大破坏,敦煌莫高窟更是劫后余生,满目疮痍。《敦煌访古图》正是甘肃著名书画家范振绪在此背景下,感念张维访存敦煌文物的高尚情怀,为其精心绘制的。此画完成并公开之后,成为民国文坛一大盛事,于右任、张大千等大批名家为其题咏。《敦煌访古图》及其题咏是在保护敦煌石窟历史过程中产生的重要文献资料,在敦煌学史上具有重要意义。
During the periods of the late Qing dynasty and the Republic of China,China underwent tremendous changes ranging from internal strife to external aggression,and many cultural relics and monuments of the country suffered great damage.The Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes were no exception.It was in such a background that the famous Gansu calligrapher and painter Fan Zhenxu completed Painting of Visiting Dunhuang in memory of the scholar Zhang Wei's painstaking efforts to preserve the cultural relics of Dunhuang after he visited the region and was moved by the plight faced by local culture.When the painting was finished,its publicity became a major event in the literary circles of the Republic of China,and many celebrated writers including Yu Youren and Zhang Daqian wrote poems and prose articles about it.This painting and its accompanying inscriptions are an important cultural document produced with a mind to the preservation of the Mogao Grotoes,and is thus of great significance for the history of Dunhuang studies.
