为了纪念《城市交通》创刊20周年,概要回顾期刊与城市交通行业共同成长的发展历程。20世纪90年代,围绕城市交通规划与管理、关注城市交通与土地利用研究的综合性学术期刊还是空白,《城市交通》率先于1999年创办内部期刊,并于2003年11月25日创刊,向国内外公开发行。伴随中国城市交通发展历程,《城市交通》记录了城市交通领域政策、规划、研究和实践的重要议题,见证了城市交通系统支撑城镇化和机动化高速发展的成就与思考。在纪念和追忆的同时更是反思和面向新起点,《城市交通》将秉持“以综合协同谋畅顺通达”的核心理念,以促进城市交通安全、有序、可持续发展为办刊愿景,加快成为代表国家学术水平、世界一流的知名期刊,致力于提升城市交通行业国际影响力与核心竞争力。
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Urban Transport of China journal,this retrospec-tive overview highlights the development process that the journal and the urban transportation industry have experienced together.In the 1990s,there was a dearth of comprehensive academic journals focusing on urban transportation planning and management,as well as studies on the intersection of urban transpor-tation and land use.Urban Transport of China took the initiative by establishing an internal journal in 1999 and was officially published on November 25,2003,both domestically and internationally.Along with the development of urban transportation in China,Urban Transport of China has documented critical topics in urban transportation research and practice.It has witnessed the accomplishments and reflections on the rap-id development of motorization and urbanization supported by the urban transportation system.In com-memorating and reflecting on the past,Urban Transport of China is looking forward to a new start.The journal upholds its core philosophy of“Comprehensive Synergy for Smooth Accessibility”and promotes the safe,orderly,and sustainable development of urban transportation.The journal is dedicated to becom-ing a renowned editorial resource representing national academic standards and international excellence,with the goal of enhancing the international influence and core competitiveness of the urban transportation industry.
