Objective To analyze effect of bacterial infection on microbial test results of blood samples. Methods The paper included 50 blood samples with bacterial infection as study subjects in analysis group from January 2021 to December 2022,and 50 blood samples without bacterial infection in control group. All research subjects were treated with microbiological testing with same method.Final test results was compared and analyzed. Results Positive rate of Salmonella detection in analysis group was 20.00%(10/50),Staphylococcus aureus detection was 24.00%(12/50),Gram negative bacilli detection was 36.00%(18/50),Brucella detection was 12.00%(6/50),and Candida detection was 8.00%(4/50),all higher than 4.00%(2/50),4.00%(2/50),6.00%(3/50),0.00%(0/50),and 0.00%(0/50)in control group(P<0.05).Disinfection factors, submission factors, specimen preservation factors, and patient factors were causes of bacterial infection during collection, accounting for 46.00%(23/50),24.00%(12/50),12.00%(6/50),and 18.00%(9/50)respectively.Conclusion Microbial test results can be affected by bacterial infection of blood samples, main influencing factors include improper disinfection during collection. In daily work,to further improve accuracy of microbial test results,it is necessary to strengthen protection of blood samples, reduce bacterial infection rates and ensure smooth clinical diagnosis and treatment in future effectively.
