Objective To explore the clinical effect of propofol intravenous anesthesia in patients with painless induced abortion. Methods A total of 900 patients who underwent painless induced abortion at Gutian East District Hospital from December 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects. All patients were randomly divided into a control group of 166 cases and an observation group of 734 cases. The control group received traditional abortion surgery combined with placebo anesthesia, while the observation group received painless induced abortion surgery under propofol intravenous anesthesia. The analgesic effect, postoperative complications, intraoperative bleeding volume, and surgical time were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of analgesia in the control group was 61.45%,significantly lower than the observation group’s 99.46%(P<0.05).The surgical time of the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group, and the intraoperative bleeding was significantly less than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the control group was 16.27%,significantly higher than 4.22%in the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion The propofol intravenous anesthesia in painless induced abortion has advantages, such as good analgesic effect and low incidence of complications, which is worth promoting and application.
